Making a profit with web site design is not always easy but it is almost always fun. Fast web site design is creative and artistic, but there are some things you need to keep in mind when creating your website. Here are six steps to making a profit in fast web site design.

Step 1: Work Out Colors
Plan your color combinations ahead of time using basic color theory. Use two basic colors and one accent color (except white, black, and gray–you will probably use these almost all the time).

Step 2: Plan Content
Don’t design your site with an overabundance of content on each page. This is too much at once. Break up the text. Remember that people read web pages in an F pattern, so plan headlines and subheads accordingly.

Step 3: Graphics
Use the simplest graphics and logos whenever possible. This will help keep the site clean and clutter free.

Step 4: Photographs
Photos are a great way to convey messages and create more meaning. They can also help support text, and text can also support the photos. When choosing, try to incorporate some of the same colors that you are using on the basic design.

Step 5: Develop Templates
If you want to be able to produce fast web site design on a rush basis, make sure you have several designs developed ahead of time–then it’s easy to change colors and layouts slightly for new designs

Step 6: Elements
You can also develop other design elements ahead of time–buttons, small accents, and even emoticons. Fast web site design is just being prepared.
