I have often said the start of something great can be the most difficult. It can feel overwhelming, daunting and scary. These feelings are not unusual when trying something new. And don’t think you’re alone. Many folks put off planning for a great career, business, new relationships and ventures for many different reasons . . . the top always being fear. One thing is for sure, you can have the best ideas and intentions but unless you execute them, they will remain an unfulfilled dream or desire. It is not impossible to fulfill your dreams. However, you have to start somewhere. The present or what I like to call the now is always perfect for…

* Planning ahead
* To put in motion the actions that will turn your dreams into reality
So let me ask you…
* Do you know where to start?
* What is going to take to make your dreams a reality?
* What kind of thinking?
* Planning?
* Actions?
You don’t have to be a skilled planner or business person to plan a successful strategy. You can start by taking small steps that you can progressively build on. Will you experience doubt and fear? Probably yes. But keep in mind that the best antidote to fear is to confront it. Be assured that with planning and preparation you will gain confidence.
Personal, business, career and financial success is within your reach. Here are the six easy strategies to your guaranteed success.
1. Write down what you’d like to do.
Write about your big dream. Write as much and as many details as you can about it. Don’t be shy. This is a personal exercise and you don’t have to share it with anyone. Writing a dream or a burning desire is like making a confession. The action itself will be liberating and it will help you get the process started.
2. Do research on the internet or the library on the topic.
The research will motivate and help you realize that others have already paved the way. Doors you didn’t know existed will open up. You will feel it is not as difficult as you had imagined.
3. Look for forums and discussion groups on the subject.
You can find these on the internet and whatever source of information there is in your community. Forums are ideal for getting you plugged in and inspired. You will be amazed at how many people participate in forums. Many may already be engaged and actively working towards the same or similar things you’ve been dreaming about.
4. Participate in teleseminars.
This is one of my favorites and one I highly recommend. Teleseminars are a wonderful source of information and a resource you can take advantage of without having to leave your home. Experts in many fields offer an array of them and often are free. I recommend you look specifically for the ones that will help you get started. Such as goal setting, planning, success coaching, etc.
5. Attend workshops.
When you participate in a workshop, not only will you be addressing the objective areas, you will also benefit from the energy and wisdom of the group, meet like-minded people, and develop long lasting relationships. It is well known that when two or more like-minded people get together–great energy, power and faith is released and activated. The use and implementation of the resources obtained at a workshop can be long lasting. The benefits are priceless.
6. Hire a coach.
A coach has the expertise to guide you in your personal, business, or career journey by encouraging, motivating, and helping you formulate the right kind of thinking that will position you for growth and success. It is no secret that the best teams, athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs and business people don’t think twice about calling on and contracting a coach to help them improve their performance. This explains why they function at the top of their game! Whatever the area you are seeking to improve or are working on, the money spent on a coach will be some of the best money you’ll ever spend.
Remember that success doesn’t happen by accident. Success comes when you take the time to plan, are focused and persevere. The better prepared you are, the greater the success. Remember, there’s no better time to get started than the now!
