There are countless books and essays written on what the Law of Attraction is, or how to go about applying it to our lives. But a question that keeps bouncing around my head, is whether or not the Law of Attraction is real and if we are manifesting desires into our lives, or if our lives are just a result of our actions. But ultimately, if we get what we were searching for, does it matter?
Many people who are new to The Secret want to know if it’s “real.” That is, whether there is some simple physical mechanism that makes good things happen simply as a result of positive thinking. The answer could thoughtfully be yes, no and maybe, all at the same time.
For starters, there’s nothing simple about consciously changing the way you think. Even those who’ve been at it for quite some time are still novices. Like the path towards Enlightenment, it will probably take a lifetime to get out of the novice stage. So no, you can’t just make a wish and hope that it comes true. There’s a bit more to it, but not much more if you really make a change in your way of thinking with some careful practice.
There are times when we manifest what we intended but we aren’t happy or fulfilled although we got what we wanted. That is because we have intended based on what we think we should want or other people’s idea of what we should want instead of what we truly desire. When we try to form definite intentions for the sake of manifesting things when we are not inspired to, we are intending from ego instead of spirit. When we allow our intentions to be naturally inspired, we will manifest what we truly desire.
There are 10.4 million sites on the internet devoted to the Law of Attraction and 168 million sites devoted to the topic of Jesus. Is there any relationship between these two phenomena? In the book and movie, “The Secret” it is claimed that the Law of Attraction has been kept secret for millennia. Is this true?
The answer to that question is a definitive yes, and no. The Law of Attraction, if you follow the claims of “secret societies,” goes back to ancient Egypt. It takes some careful analysis but the claims are essentially correct, in my opinion. However, what is more certain is that this concept has been in plain sight for over 2,000 years. Like the proverbial purloined letter, the Law of Attraction has been in millions of homes around the world in the teachings of Jesus.
Contrast is the same as showing differences or unlikeness. In our day to day experiences, contrast is something that we say we do not want.
When you live contrast, you are living something unwanted. But can contrast be good?
Without it, we wouldn’t get very far! We would all like the same things; everyone would like the same sports, the same foods, everyone would sing the same songs and there would be no platform for anyone to give birth to a new desire.
That type of a world doesn’t sound very exciting does it?
What you say determines what you will think. What you think will determine what you feel. What you feel will determine what you manifest. Your words therefore are extremely important that you get them right.
You’ve probably heard it time and time again that it is your thoughts that are doing all of attraction. But in fact it isn’t your thoughts at all. The universe doesn’t hear your thoughts nor does it see the pictures in your mind. It simply responds to the vibration that emanates from your emotions.
There are some secrets to manifest money that are slightly different from manifest other things. In our society money has such a heavy hold on our time and our desires that we are literally under the spell of money. Money rules our lives. The technique you are about to learn is quite simple but it is quite effective in increasing a gushing money flow. I know because it works for me every single time.
Have you ever noticed that most if not all our actions are really governed by money and making more money? It’s a sad truth but this alone keeps most people feeling frustrated about money. Our negative thoughts about money tends to prevent us from manifesting more money into our lives.
The Law of Attraction is a mainstream phenomenon thanks to the popularity of the movie The Secret. The Law of Attraction is a universal law that grants us whatever we desire. Sounds simple enough, but sometimes we don’t get what we want when we want it.
For example, say you desire a new sports car. You tell the Universe you want the car on Tuesday the 13th. However, the car doesn’t manifest. Now you ask questions. Why didn’t the Universe grant my desire? Did I ask for the wrong thing? Does the Law of Attraction really work?
Does opportunity knock or are we receptive to the opportunities which have been there, but we did not consciously connect with them before.
Staying connected to opportunities is the practice of combining habit creation (a consistent and persistent set of actions towards a goal or desire) and the Law of Attraction (giving your attention, energy, and focus to your desire) to manifest anything you want. When you create a focus of seeing opportunities and allowing the principles of the Law of Attraction to guide your way, it makes it nearly impossible to not get exactly what you want.
There is one very important step that is often overlooked by most people who are working hard to apply the law of attraction. That step requires that you surround yourself with the sort of people who already have what you are trying to manifest in your life.
Have you ever heard stories or witness people who change dramatically because of the new crowd they were associating with? Perhaps you have noticed yourself developing certain habits after having the company of certain friends. If all your friends complain about money every day you may begin to realize that you have several complaints about money that you previously did not have before. We become like the people we surround our selves with.
