The network marketing industry is often seen as controversial. When you join a network marketing company you are then faced with the intimidating job of telling your friends and family - what will be their response?

But why would one be so afraid of confessing such a thing? Is a career in network marketing really so bad?

The problem is that when a distributor tells others about their work with a sense of shame, however hard they try to hide it others can sense it straight away. This isn’t a very encouraging way to talk about an exciting business opportunity! It reinforces the wrong impression about MLM - an impression many people wrongly hold.

Are you achieving network marketing success? No, then you need to take a step back and ask yourself why?

Granted, network marketing success won’t happen overnight but as the old saying says… “it will happen if you apply some proven principles.”

If you have been listening to your upline and followed clearly everything they’ve advised you to do yet your bank balance is showing in the red and you haven’t sponsored anyone yet guess what… it might be time to stop listening to what they say and perhaps start doing what they do.

Network marketing is the best way to make a lasting income; an income that can be enjoyed for generations. It is important, however, to understand that the biggest MLM success secret is people. You will never have lasting success if you do not focus on the needs of those you sponsor. If you can mentor two or three others to do what you do and they do the same; you will experience tremendous success.

Another MLM success secret is to market YOU. People don’t buy products and services without buying YOU first. Because of the internet self-marketing is very easy. My advice would be to do the following:

I have one main rule when presented with a multi level marketing or network marketing opportunity. If I feel pressured to make a decision that second and threatened with “this opportunity will disappear if you don’t take advantage of it now” I run away. And so should you.

While there may be some genuine ground floor opportunities out there that I’ve missed out on - I’m pretty sure there a hundreds more that haven’t missed me at all :-)

I urge you to share this article with the serious people in your business and watch what happens to your checks and the checks of people in your team. When a mentor taught me about the tools and the philosophy of using them, my business and income went to a whole new level. It was really a change in my mindset first. He helped me see the bigger business model that building my Network marketing business fit into. You are building your work at home business. The point is, there is an easier faster way to build it that makes you even more PROFITS and insures your LONG TERM Financial success.

Network marketing is one of the most lucrative business around. You can start this business with extremely low capital but with the ability to earn passive income in the long run. This means that you do the work once and you get paid every month even if you stop selling or sponsoring.

If this business has so much potential, why do so many people quit before they even get to earn some good money? They get so excited about the thought of having financial freedom and live the life they want when they first get started in network marketing. However, within a few months, majority will quit. Some will even say network marketing is a total scam.

Wouldn’t that be great? Just place ads and people flock to your door and sign up?

If you haven’t done it this way yet it’s probably because you don’t know how or you can’t afford to advertise.

Maybe you don’t even know where you can advertise!

I guess the three main ways to place paid advertising would be:

1. Pay-per-Click.

2. Place ads in other peoples Ezines.

3. Place ads in Newspapers.

But it all costs money, right?
